Flicks For Chicks

Flicks for Chicks is BACK for another amazing year under our warm, Colorado summer skies. This Thursday’s featured movie is The Notebook!
Join us weekly on Thursday evenings for FLICKS FOR CHICKS, a free movie night experience in our courtyard. We’ve pre-selected some of America’s FAVORITE chick flicks to air on our OUTDOOR, 190” LED tv.
Run For The Ring 5K & Kids Fun Run
8/3 | Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes | 7am – 12pm
The Run For The Ring 5K & Kids Fun Run is an event for everyone, whether you’re a competitive runner or want to enjoy a walk/jog around the beautiful Anschutz Medical Campus.
Proceeds from this event support The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, whose mission is to fund research, promote diabetes awareness and education, assist families in need, provide continuing education scholarships, and sponsor social activities for children and their families.
Bruz Beers 5k
8/3 | Bruz Beers | 11am – 2pm
Join us at Bruz Beers for a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome brewery! Weave through the surrounding area at whatever pace you like, no matter what, there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line!
We are all about being active, having fun and giving back to our local community. +10% of your registration dollars go directly to local non-profits!
Morning Yoga in the Gardens
8/3 | Denver Botanic Gardens | 8am – 9am
CorePower Yoga leads this special Saturday morning class in the Gardens. The class strengthens, balances and detoxifies the body and mind through an accessible vinyasa flow. All levels welcome. Bring a mat and water.
The class takes place in the mostly-shaded Annuals Garden and Pavilion (not the location pictured). $18 fee includes admission to the Gardens so you can explore and relax after class.
