We miss you all. Our community is built around being together, playing, socializing and building relationships with one another. We are devastated that these unprecedented times are keeping us apart, but we know that we will overcome this and become a stronger community for having experienced it.
We have been closely monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19 and following the guidelines set forth from government agencies and park departments. Our top priority remains the health of our players, staff, and all those we come in contact with. While we wish we could play on, anything that puts our players, staff, coaches or kids in harm’s way is out of the question. We have updates to share with you below, and as the situation evolves we will continue to provide updates to keep you informed.
We’re All In This Together
Not just as the Play Mile High family, but as a larger community of Denverites and Americans, we must all recognize that while we may not personally feel at risk, by practicing social distancing and taking this pandemic seriously, we can and will save the lives of others. There are very clear guidelines provided by the CDC and WHO that reinforce the need to maintain safe distances and not gather in large groups. Please join us in staying home and follow the guidelines outlined by experts. Play Mile High believes in doing our part to help flatten the curve of this novel pandemic and we are committed to doing so.
Play Mile High Updates
We have proactively postponed our spring registration deadline to May 7th. We are taking guidance from the parks department, the government and the CDC and will play as soon as it is safe. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust dates accordingly. We will send out updates as we have them. Please login to your Rivall account to see the updated start date for your league.
At this time we are unable to offer refunds due to these delays. As mentioned, we will begin play again as soon as it is safe, and all members will receive full value of their registration fees. All games will be played. We hope you will understand the need for this, as we must do our best to ensure that we keep the sustainable organization that you know and love. If you no longer want to play in the spring season, we can offer you a league credit for a future season.
In the meantime, we recommend that you download the Volo App and turn notifications on to receive important updates regarding league play, rescheduled games, and to keep in touch with your teammates. You can download it on the App Store or Google Play.
All Volo Kids programs have been postponed through mid-May. Volunteers and parents will be sent updated program schedules when available.
