“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” To get into the holiday spirit, Denver makes it really easy. From the food, alcohol, sports, and lights, you cannot go wrong no matter what you choose to do.
The Berkeley Inn Free Thanksgiving
The Berkeley Inn will take care of all of your Thanksgiving needs. A full, traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served for free starting at 2pm. Even better, this bar is open from 10am-2am giving you plenty of time to relax and unwind with your favorite people. So skip the stress of making dinner and truly just enjoy the day!
Kicking it With Santa Kickball Tournament
It’s pretty simple. Grab your friends and put a kickball team together. I promise, it will be more fun than you think. Plus, did I mention that after the tournament ends there is 3 hours of free beer?! 3 HOURS! Oh, and wait there’s more. A costume contest will be held and first and second place winners will receive Bar Tab prizes. Need I say more? Register by 12/4 here.
Savasana with Santa
On December 7th from 10am-11am consider yourself busy at Rino Sports Arena off of Wynkoop. ‘Savasana with Santa’ will get you in the right mindset to enjoy the holidays and reflect on all that you are grateful for. A mat, towel, and water are all necessary items. But, an added perk is a complimentary mimosa at the end. See, working out isn’t all that bad after all! Register here.
Blossoms of Lights
It certainly wouldn’t be the holiday season without Blossoms of Lights. Every year at the Botanic Gardens, the most beautiful light displays are created for viewers to ‘ooo’ and ‘ahhh’ at. This year is no different. So get out there and see the ever-changing and dazzling lights from now until the beginning of January. Learn more.
You can’t have Blossoms of Lights without mentioning Zoo Lights too. Zoo Lights takes place at the Denver Zoo and has many different animal light displays to look at. An added bonus. You can meet and greet some of the animals like the giraffes (my personal favorite) and the elephants. I’d say that’s a win-win situation, if I do say so myself! Learn more.
