Bar Games @ Players Pub

Scoring for Bar Games is based on overall wins and losses for the evening at each station. There are 5 stations, therefore five points overall is the highest overall score possible for the evening. The scoring for each round is listed below. The team with the highest score per round will receive the overall win for that station. Ties are scored 1 – 1. If there is a forfeit, the non-forfeiting team will win the match with a score of 3 – 0. Overall win-loss record will determine the league ranking for playoffs. Every team makes playoffs unless your team forfeits two or more matches during the season. A minimum of three players is required to play. If a team needs additional players, subs can be used during regular season games. Only players on the roster can participate during the playoffs.

Hoops (1 point per game)
Teams will play a best of 5 series.  Each player will play the entire 60 seconds. Teams will rotate through all players on their roster in attendance. Each team earns one point per game won. The team who wins the best of 5 series will earn the overall point for this round.

Skeeball (1 point per game)
Teams will play in best of 7 series of Skeeball Match Play. A Skeeball match play round will include 3 players rolling 3 balls each for a total score of the 9 balls thrown. The team with the higher score wins that round and point.  The most balls any one person can throw per 9 balls is 3 balls. So each team must use at least 3 players per 9 balls. Each team must utilize every player in attendance and each team must use the same rotation of players. The team that is ahead in score during each round, throws the last ball first. The team who wins the best of 9 series earns the overall point for the round.

4-Person PACMAN (1 point per game)
Teams will play a best of 3 games. Each team will have 2 players playing in each game. Each PACMAN game is 5 rounds. The last player alive after each round wins that round. If 2 players win the same amount of rounds per game then that round is a tie. Teams are allowed to sub in a new player after rounds. After each full game, teams will rotate in a new player.

Mario Kart/Air Hockey (1 point per game)
This game station has 2 parts to it. The team that wins the most Mario Kart races wins that half of the station (Best out of 5 Races). The team that wins the most Air Hockey games, wins that half of the station (Best out of 3 Games). Both games are played simultaneously. If teams split the station, then each team will earn 1 point towards their overall score. If a team wins both Mario Kart and Air Hockey, they earn 1 point towards their overall score.

Mario Kart races will be in VS mode. When setting up the race make sure both players simultaneously make the same selections. For week 1 we are selecting an easy mode and the 1st track (all the way to the left). Each week will be a different track! Each Mario Kart race must rotate in a new player (If your team has less than 5 people, you may repeat).

Each Air Hockey game must rotate in a new player.

Partner FlipCup (1 Point per game)

Teams will partner up with a teammate and play partner FlipCup. Partners will stand across from each other at the table. Each person will have 2 cups in front of them with a shot of any liquid (beer/water/etc.) in each cup. At the same time, both partners will drink their 1st cup, then a designated flip side will flip their empty cup into their partner’s empty cup. After successfully flipping the first cup into their partners, both players will repeat the process for their 2nd cup. The partnership that finishes flipping their cups last will lose that round and each partner will lose a cup leaving them with 1 each. The designated flip side will alternate from round to round. If a team loses both sets of cups, they are eliminated from the game. This is a survivor style game that is played until there is only one team of partners left. The team with the final partners left in the game earns 1 overall point for their team.
